A transsexual named Amen is optimistically planning to do gender reassignment surgery but ends up being sent to prison. Being a transsexual was hard enough in Iran for Amen, let alone the misfortune of being replaced as a murderer.
Mehdi Torabbeigi was born in 1980 in Neyshabour, Iran and graduated with a Masters of Educational Management. He has written the scenario for many films, series and documentaries such as: UNRIPE POMEGRANATES (2014) and AT THE END OF EVIN (2021), selected at BIFAN.
Mohammad Torabbeigi was born 1975 in Neyshabour, Iran. He graduated from a Master of Persian Language and Literature and is a member and teacher of the Iranian Youth Cinema Society. He directed more than 10 short films and documentaries. His latest feature is AT THE END OF EVIN (2021), selected at BIFAN.
