Pari and Farhad are a middle-class couple who are both involved in theater and cinema. As Pari unintentionally becomes pregnant, Farhad insists on abortion. However, Pari believes that abortion is inhumane and thus cannot accept her husband‘s will. A baby that has the possibility of making their family life happier causes some serious changes in their situation.
Mohsen Abdolvahab was born in 1957 in Tehran. He began his cinematic career in 1980, editing documentary films and producing 25 short documentaries, which received national and international awards. Previous films with Rakhshan Bani-Etemad include Gilaneh (2004) and Mainline (2006). Please Do not Disturb (2010), his first feature film, was screened in more than 30 international film festivals and brought him 10 awards.
