A woman hides her job from her daughter, but as the case unfolds, her daughter’s more bizarre secret is revealed.

Samira Hazrati, was born 1988 from Iran. graduate of filmmaking from Iranian National School Of Cinema. As an assistant director, I starred in the short film «Animal» which won the second prize in the Cinefondation of Cannes Festival in 2017 can be mentioned as one of the most important awards. also the assistant director of the film «The Third Single Person», which won the best film from the point of view of the student judging group received the 39th VGIK International Student Film Festival in Russia. «Checkmated» is my third short film as director to win numerous domestic awards.
