Turicum is a documentary film about a living object called Zurich City founded by the Romans who in 15 BC called it Turicum. The main player is the city itself described and characterized by its habitants and by its events.
Yadolah Dodge was born in Abadan, Iran, and is a Swiss citizen. Along with a full-time position as Professor and Chair of Statistics at the University of Neuchâtel, Switzerland, his dedication to photography, painting and film-making continued, resulting in three long documentaries: Turicum: Das ist Zurich (2014), Dear Son (2018) and So ein Theater (2019). He is author of over 20 books by the Oxford University Press, Springer and John-Wiley.
