Farrokh, a young man in his mid-twenties, had been studying abroad in Greece. When he receives a full scholarship in Sweden he moves there and informs his parents. That‘s the last time they heard from him. However, when his wife‘s despair drives her to a crisis that leaves her physically disabled, Farrokh‘s father Jacob travels to Sweden in order to find their son.

He is known as a documentarian who makes poetic and social environmental films. His recent film include the Road to Perdition (2016) and the Descendants (2015).
