About the Director
Farshad Hashemi is an Iranian writer, actor, and director who
began his artistic career in theatre and cinema. He has worked in
various roles, including acting, writing, directing, assistant directing,
and production management. His debut feature, Me, Maryam, the
Children and 26 Others, premiered in the Tiger Competition at the
International Film Festival Rotterdam and has received several
international awards, including the prestigious Ingmar Bergman
Award for Best Film at the Göteborg Film Festival, Sweden.
