“Noah’s Daughter” follows a young woman camping alone on a remote island in southern
Iran. After strange encounters and a mysterious purple light, she returns to Tehran carrying
messages from the dead, caught between two worlds.
About the Director
Director Amirreza Jalalian
Born in Qazvin, Iran, in 1986, Amirreza Jalalian is an Iranian filmmaker and
writer whose work explores the poetic dimensions of human experience. He
graduated with a Master’s degree in Materials Engineering from Amirkabir
University of Technology, but his passion for cinema and literature led him
to pursue a career in filmmaking.
